Basic Canteens These canteens are top-notch, and durable. We use them on the ranch all the time. Each is handmade, while the interior bladder is made of plastic to prevent rusting. Liquids can NOT be frozen in these canteens. The 1 ½ Quart canteens work well to fasten over the saddle horn. The strap is 12" tall measuring from the canteen to the top point of the strap.
